Bitter chocolate 6.35 oz (180 g)

Sugar 7.05 oz (200 g)

Wheat flour 1.43 lbs (650g)

Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

Salt a pinch

Mint extract ¾ teaspoon

Pecan 3 tablespoons

Milk 1 tablespoon

Powdered sugar 2.82 oz (80 g)

Instructions. Brownies with mint and nuts.

Preheat the oven to 356F (180C). Grease a rectangular or square metal baking dish with a small amount of oil. Over a low heat, melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Leave to cool.

Using a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes until frothy. Add the chocolate-butter mixture, flour, 0.5 teaspoons of mint, vanilla and salt. Stir until smooth. Add the chopped nuts.

Transfer the dough to the form and put it in the oven for 25 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden stick-the dough inside should not be sticky. Remove from the oven and set to cool.

Beat the powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of butter, milk and the remaining mint extract until creamy. Cover the resulting mixture with warm brownies. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Melt the remaining chocolate and 2 tablespoons of butter over a low heat. Cool slightly and spread evenly over the brownies. Cover and refrigerate for another hour. Then cut into 20 squares.
