Instruction:. Healthy breakfast pancakes with turmeric on cream.
Prepare all the ingredients.
To make pancakes soft and elastic, it is advisable to use cream with a high fat content-20-33%. If you are going to stuff pancakes with unsweetened filling, the amount of sugar should be reduced. In a large bowl, mix the flour and turmeric sifted through a sieve. Add the remaining dry ingredients-salt and sugar.
Mix all the dry ingredients with a whisk. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Shake the eggs with a whisk. Pour in the cream and stir. Add the milk and mix all the liquid ingredients until smooth. Make a small depression in the center of the bowl with the dry ingredients, pour in some of the resulting liquid.
Stir with a whisk from the center in a circle, combine the dry and liquid ingredients, gradually adding the rest of the liquid. Pour the olive oil into the dough and mix until smooth.
Be sure to let the creamed pancake batter stand for 10-15 minutes. All the ingredients will “make friends” with each other, the sugar will dissolve, and the pancakes will be tender and will not break. Pour 1 ladle of dough into a preheated, dry, non-stick frying pan. Turn the pan to spread the dough on the bottom, forming a round pancake.
Fry the turmeric pancakes over medium heat for 30 to 40 seconds on each side. Remove the finished pancake to a plate. Pour the ladle of dough back into the pan. Pancakes with cream do not need to be greased, they are soft and elastic immediately after frying. From this amount of dough in a medium-sized pan, you get about 35-40 thin pancakes.
Elastic pancakes on cream take any shape, and the absence of holes will allow you to wrap them even liquid filling-jam or jam. Bright Sunny start of the day – it’s pancakes with turmeric, cream!
Why have breakfast?
A balanced breakfast is not just the first meal. It plays an important role and performs such functions:
Recuperation. If you think that the body is resting at night, then you are very mistaken. It is during sleep that important processes take place: tissue regeneration and renewal of all cells, protein synthesis, and enzyme release. Proper morning meal restores energy resources spent overnight, replenishes energy reserves.
Proper metabolism. Food consumed in the morning not only gives a feeling of satiety, but also triggers metabolic processes – proper absorption and consumption of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Digestive enzymes that process minerals and vitamins are also synthesized in the morning.
Weight control. By having breakfast, you get rid of the feeling of hunger for the next few hours, that is, before lunch. This helps not to snack and, accordingly, not to overeat during the day. That is, the risks of weight gain and obesity are significantly reduced.
Normalization of sugar levels. During the night, the amount of glucose in the blood decreases. Glycogen reserves, which are necessary for strengthening and proper muscle function, decrease and deplete. Without breakfast, you risk feeling muscle weakness. Glucose is also needed for normal brain activity – thinking, the ability to concentrate and remember.
Cheerfulness, good mood. A healthy breakfast is the right start to the day, because it invigorates, gives positive thoughts, sets you up for productive work or an active and pleasant rest.
Good digestion. Eating after waking up, you start the work of the stomach and intestines, normalize stools, prevent constipation or discomfort, pain, heaviness in the abdomen.
