Bread 8.82 oz ( 250 g)
Pork/bacon / sausage 12.35 oz (350 g)
Cheese 5.29 oz (150 g)

Green onions fresh herbs to taste
Mix of dried herbs to taste
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp.

Grate the cheese and finely chop the green onions. Cut the bread and smoked meat into small cubes. I use boiled and smoked pork, but you can use any flavorful meat that is found in the house. Suitable bacon, brisket, sausage, sausage, leftover baked meat. In a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the meat pieces until Golden. Then remove the meat and set it aside for a while.
Add the sliced bread to the pan with the remaining meat juice and oil and fry for 2-3 minutes so that it absorbs all the flavors. In a separate container, combine the eggs and milk. Add salt, ground black pepper and dried herbs to taste. Whisk the mixture for a few minutes, until smooth.
Add the chopped green onions and grated cheese and mix well. Grease the baking dish with butter. Lay out the pieces of bread. Add the fried pieces of meat. Pour in the prepared egg and milk mixture.
Bake the prepared dish in a preheated 356F (180C) degree oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden. Strata is ready. Bon Appetit!
