Cooking time one hour

To make a beet relish, cut the beets into small cubes. Also chop the apples and onions. Put everything in a saucepan.

Combine mustard seeds, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, red wine and sugar. Add this to the common pot, put it on the fire and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for about 40 minutes. The liquid should evaporate and the mixture become thick. Leave it to cool.

Mix the minced meat with the garlic powder, oregano and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper. Form 4 cutlets with a recess in the middle so that they have the correct shape when finished. Fry the cutlets in olive oil in a well-heated frying pan. Cook them for 3 minutes on each side.

Brown the burger buns cut in half in a dry pan. Assemble the burger: put a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, cutlets, beetroot relish on one half of the bun and cover with the other half of the bun.

According to the recipe, the yield of relish is 3 cups. It can be divided and used for other dishes: pork, chicken, or cheese dishes. Stored for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
