Cooking time 40 minutes
We prepare the necessary products.
Cranberries are sorted (a few berries can be set aside for decoration), washed and crushed with an immersion blender until smooth. Rub the cranberry mass through a sieve. Get the cranberry puree. We don’t throw away the cake.
In a saucepan, pour 1.5 cups of water, add the resulting cake, add sugar and bring to a boil. Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Combine the gelatin with 1/2 Cup of water and mix. On low heat, heat until dissolved, do not bring to a boil.
Add the dissolved gelatin to the slightly cooled cranberry mixture. The resulting mixture is filtered.
Combine the strained solution with cranberry puree and mix. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Pour 2/3 of the cranberry mass into glasses. Glasses are not filled to the brim, leaving room for foam. Cranberry jelly is put in the refrigerator until completely solidified. My jelly froze in 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Cool the remaining 1/3 of the cranberry mass. The consistency will be similar to liquid jelly. Beat with a blender until an air foam forms.
With a spoon place the foam on top of the hardened jelly. Put in the refrigerator until completely solidified.
Ready-made cranberry jelly can be decorated with berries and mint leaves. This useful jelly is very much loved by children. Bon Appetit!
